Its listed platform range includes consoles, computers, and mobile devices, so it suits a setup that changes from room to room or device to device.

Who should skip it
Skip it if you need noise cancellation to block distractions around your gaming space. Its 60-hour battery and quick-switch wireless support longer play across 2.4GHz and Bluetooth.

Arctis Nova 5X Review: Wireless Flexibility for Multi-Platform Play
Platform switching and setup
The Nova 5X is aimed at players who share time among Xbox, PC, PlayStation, Switch, and mobile devices.
Its compact USB-C dongle supports those platforms, while the 2.4GHz and Bluetooth switch provides a way to move between gaming audio and calls or media.
Preset-based audio choices
The companion app's 100+ presets give players title-specific starting points rather than requiring every adjustment to begin from scratch.
That is useful for someone who likes to tune game audio, though a preset library is a customization feature rather than a guarantee of a particular listening result.
Battery and charging rhythm
The 60-hour battery capacity is intended to reduce charging frequency, and USB-C fast charging can add six hours of use in 15 minutes.
That combination fits long stretches of play, while still leaving a quick top-up option when charging time is short.
Mic and everyday controls
The retractable microphone can be moved out of the way when it is not needed, and the headset keeps power, mute, volume, ChatMix, and Quick-Switch controls within reach.
For players who often take calls away from a quiet room, check microphone behavior in their usual surroundings before relying on it.
